“Just don’t call us stragglers.  Two from our tiny group already won a life saving race.  They survived cancer, and 67 miles of bicycling was a record distance for both”.

“To those who made this event happen, we thank you.  More work are research are needed to beat cancer.  So take this as a call to others to challenge an ugly disease.  Dust off that bike, ride with us and support our efforts next year”.
